For the first time in months, birds were at our bird feeders over the week-end. I was unbelievably happy to see them. It means spring can’t be all that far off!
Warm weather will come a bit earlier for us though…we’re heading south next week. The Last Minute Club will determine our final destination, but I hope it’s somewhere hot and sunny.

The spring birds are all returning here as well. I saw them yesterday on my way down to The Drive – a whole family of Robins. They were all singing, along with the Starlings and the Chick-a-dees and the tiny bush-birds all of all sorts. There’s something so hopeful about spring bird-song. It must be even more so for you with all the snow on the ground. I felt the bounce in my step again!
