I’m about to head south and east for a bit of a work trip. Typically the few days leading up to a hiatus from the office are hectic and a bit of a slog. Not this time. For some reason, everything seems to be falling into place. Projects are wrapping up nicely and, knock on wood, there don’t seem to be any big issues on the horizon. Same goes for the homefront. I’ve managed to get all the garden harvested and the pickling done (last night it was green tomato relish), without so much as one snowflake taunting me. Now let’s see if I can find the tail end of summer in southern Canada.
