I followed through on my pledge to harvest the first of our rhurbarb…I made two rhurbarb pies yesterday. I also took some chive snippings to add to a potato salad. Things are slow to come in Northern gardens, but it’s a true delight when they do.
I now have my eye on the radish and lettuce, which should be ready before too long, and I am carefully watching the progress of the little cucumbers and tomatoes that are developing in our greenhouse. I can’t wait for that first garden salad!
