Hontanas to Boadilla del Camino – Part 2

The ruins at San Anton weren’t the only ones we saw that day. In fact on the Camino, it’s a rare day when you don’t see the remains of medieval buildings of some sort or other. 

Shortly after leaving the monastery we came to Castrojeriz, with the remnants of an old castle looking down over the town. If I’d had the energy I would have loved to have walked up the mountain and explored its ruins, but it just seemed too daunting a task. Maybe next time.
